The ideal candidate for the Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst position is an individual that has the intellect, leadership, drive, and experience with quality assurance practices, test design, change control, testing & automation tools. This person will be involved in all phases of strategic projects identifying, documenting, preparing and implementing testing strategies for a large-scale development effort. The candidate must have prior experience in test planning, test design and development to ensure user specified features and functionality exists in the application and is tested successfully.
Technical Skills :
- Mercury Test Director/Quality Center
- Mercury Win Runner
- Mercury Test Script Language (TSL)
- Oracle
- SQL
- Fundamental knowledge of object oriented programming languages
Responsibility:
- Be able to make a judgment call about Go/No Go decision at the end of QA cycle
- Be able to manage day to day activity of junior team
- To be able to do prioritization based on workload and available resources
- Develop test plans and manual test scripts for functional and regression testing based on identified business requirements and validation of requirements coverage
- Develop automated test scripts for E-Commerce projects by recording, programming, or a combination of both
- Execute manual and automated test scripts including analyses of results, defect logging, and verification of fixed bugs
- Create test execution and defect tracking reports
- Provide input for improving testing policies and procedures
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior QA analysts
